My name is Verria Kelly and I'm your Good Health Coach. The past 15 years of my life has been a testament to the powerful healing that can take place once you learn how to take control of your health.

For many years, my symptoms baffled doctors, and I couldn't find anyone who could diagnose, much less treat me. I was lost and became withdrawn from my friends and family. My symptoms would flare without warning, and they spanned all across the board into various medical specialties. For awhile, I was convinced that my health would never improve, so I tried my best not to worry others and instead suffered in silence.

After 6 long years, I woke up one day and thought to myself, "That's it, I've had enough!"

How I Recovered

What ensued was a health journey beyond all journeys. I essentially taught myself to listen to my body in a way that enabled me to control my symptoms as opposed to allowing my symptoms to control me. I asked and answered . . . How can you go from being sick to being well? What can you do to prepare your body to accept the healing process? How can you find the right practitioner to guide you through your journey? What are your responsibilities in the healing process? The list goes on and on. It took years, but I won the battle – and today I feel better than ever!

Why I Became a Health Coach

I knew there were others out there suffering just like me and I wanted to help. But first, I focused on getting myself back in shape. I became a Certified Wellness Consultant and resumed my physical activities that I'd been forced to put on hold for years.

Then, I helped as many people as possible – friends, family, strangers – it didn't really matter. I launched my own website to help people make lifestyle changes, and I helped countless friends address various health problems.

It wasn’t until I decided to enroll in a Certified Professional Coaching Program at the International Academy of Coaching that everything became clear. Coaching is where I belong.
